Roofing in Mesa
A great deal of Mesa went up between the seventies and the nineties, which puts a lot of roofs here at exactly the age where the underlayment gives out.

Mostly concrete tile from the 1970s onward, with pockets of older housing carrying flat and low-slope sections. The city is large enough that the answer genuinely differs between neighbourhoods.
Tile roofs from that window are now twenty-five to fifty years old. The tile is fine; the felt under it is not. Most of what we do in Mesa is a re-felt, lifting and stacking the existing tile, replacing everything underneath, and setting it back.
