Privacy policy
The short version: what you send us is used to get back to you about your roof or your project. We don't sell it, we don't put you on a mailing list, and you can ask us to delete it.

This policy covers localboyscontracting.com, run by Local Boys Contracting LLC, a general building contractor licensed by the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, ROC #368084. Our office is at 14001 N. 7th Street, Suite B-104, Phoenix, AZ 85022.
What we collect
- When you send us a form. Your name, your phone number or email address, and anything you write in the message. The booking form also asks for the property address, the kind of work and the roof type. We also note which page of the site you sent it from.
- When you call, text or email us. Your number or address, and whatever you choose to tell us.
- When you visit. Like almost every website, the servers that deliver it record basic technical details of each request: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and when. This is done by our web host and by Cloudflare, the network that delivers and protects the site.
How we use it
To reply to you, arrange an inspection, prepare a quote and, if you hire us, do the work and keep a record of it. Server records are used to keep the site running and to block abuse. We don't use your details for anything else, and we don't add you to a mailing list.
Who sees it
- Us. Every form is saved on the website's server and emailed to our business inbox.
- The contractor doing the work, if you hire us. Every trade on a job is done by a contractor licensed for it, under our contract. They get what they need to do the job, such as the address, the scope and how to reach you.
- Others you ask us to deal with, such as your insurance company and adjuster on a storm claim, or a manufacturer when we register a product warranty in your name.
- The services that run our business: our web host, Cloudflare, and our email provider, only as needed to provide those services.
- The law. If we are legally required to share something, we will.
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Cookies
The site sets two cookies of its own, both needed for it to work: a session cookie, and a security token that stops forms being submitted from other sites. Both expire after two hours.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Ads conversion tracking to see how people find the site and which of our ads lead to an enquiry. These services set their own cookies and receive information about your visit, such as the pages you view and whether you sent us a form or tapped to call. They do not receive what you wrote in a form.
You can limit this through Google's ad settings, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.
Links to our Google, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn pages take you to those sites, where their own privacy policies apply.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to respond to you. If you become a customer, your details are kept with the job record for as long as we need it for warranty, tax and legal purposes. Server records are kept for a limited period by our host and Cloudflare.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] or call (602) 783-4870. We will do it unless the law requires us to keep something, such as a record of work we performed.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send anything through the site that you would not want in an email, such as payment card details.
Children
This site is for homeowners and property managers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
