Roofing in Scottsdale
Tile country, and the city where what the roof looks like matters to your neighbours nearly as much as what it does.
What we see here
Scottsdale roofs, specifically.
Overwhelmingly concrete and clay tile, from the older central neighbourhoods through the north Scottsdale subdivisions. Very high HOA density, and many of those HOAs specify tile profile and colour rather than leaving it to the homeowner.
The tile is rarely the problem. It is the underlayment beneath it, which reaches the end of its life around the twenty to twenty-five year mark while the tile above still looks new. That is the single most common misunderstanding we correct here.

Worth knowing
Scottsdale in particular.
Colour and profile matching is a real constraint rather than a preference. A discontinued tile can mean sourcing salvage or seeking an HOA variance, and that is worth knowing before the work starts.
